Admission Details
The application window for the 2026-27 academic year closes at 4 p.m. on March 30, 2026. Eligibility extends to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a self-declaration of English language proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees. These referees will be contacted to provide recommendation letters. The referees will comment on the applicant’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English communication skills.
Academic and Language Proficiency Tests
For PhD and PG programs, candidates may need to submit scores from standardized tests. These include GATE , CSIR , UGC NET , or DST INSPIRE . International exams like GRE and GMAT are also considered. Applicants must also provide scores from English proficiency tests such as TOEFL , IELTS , TOEIC , OPI , OPIC , or the Cambridge English Examination .
Selection Process
Admission decisions will be based on performance in an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited to interview with a faculty committee from the relevant department. This process evaluates their suitability for the chosen program.
