Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement or self-declaration of English proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees. These referees will be contacted to comment on the candidate’s academic aptitude, field-specific proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English language skills.
Depending on the program, candidates may need to submit scores from standardized tests. These include the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. International test scores like Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) may also be required.
English language proficiency must be demonstrated. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination. Other recognized language tests may also be considered.
Selection Process
Admission will be based on performance in an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
