Admissions Overview
Foreign nationals, including Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders, are eligible. Applications are being accepted for the 2026-27 academic year. The application portal closes at 4 p.m. on March 30, 2026.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement declaring their English proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees for recommendation letters. These referees will comment on the candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
Academic and English Proficiency Scores
Eligibility for PhD and PG programs may require scores from exams like Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE.
International examination scores, such as Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT), are also considered. Candidates must submit scores from English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission is based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
