Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:
• be a 1st-year MBBS student of Bangalore Medical College and Mysore Medical College with 85% or above in 2nd PUC and an entrance exam rank of 2000 or below.
• be a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year MBBS student who has not received any scholarship other than VMS in previous years and has secured over 70% in the last university exam.
• have an annual family income not exceeding ₹3,00,000.
Note: For 1st-year MBBS students, applying for or receiving other scholarships and education loans is not a disqualification for this scholarship.
