The scholarship is awarded across four distinct academic tracks:
Bachelor’s Track
Master’s Track
Doctoral Track (equivalent to PhD)
Postdoctoral Track

Winners of the Open Doors scholarship are granted eligibility to study or work at leading Russian universities under the Government Quota. For participants in the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral tracks, the award covers full tuition fees, funded directly by the Russian government. Postdoctoral participants receive an award that includes employment as a researcher at one of the organizing universities, offering a unique professional development opportunity.

The application window for this project is from September 1, 2025, with a strict deadline of November 16, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Degree Status: Must not currently hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from any institution.
Education Level: Must have completed, or be in the process of completing, secondary education that qualifies them for admission to higher education institutions in their home country or Russia.
