The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is accepting applications from international students for its PhD and postgraduate (PG) programs. The application deadline is March 30, 2026 . Admission Eligibility
Applications are open to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Candidates must demonstrate English proficiency. This can be done via a self-declaration. They must also provide the names of two referees for recommendation letters.

Required Test Scores
Eligibility for PhD and PG programs may require scores from specific standardized tests. These include:

Selection Process
Admission to IIT Delhi’s PhD and PG programs will be based on performance in an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will receive interview invitations. These interviews will be conducted by a committee of faculty members from the relevant disciplines.
