• Day Scholars receive ₹550 per month for 10 months.
• Group 2: For all non-professional recognised courses leading to a Graduate or Postgraduate Degree (not covered under Group 1) in Arts, Science, and Commerce (e.g., BA/B.Sc/B.Com or MA/MSc/M.Com).
• Hostellers receive ₹820 per month for 10 months.
• Day Scholars receive ₹530 per month for 10 months.
• Group 3: For vocational streams, ITI courses, and 3-year diploma courses in Polytechnics.
• Hostellers receive ₹570 per month for 10 months.
• Day Scholars receive ₹300 per month for 10 months.
• Group 4: For all post-matriculation level non-degree courses where the entrance qualification is High School (Class 10).
• Hostellers receive ₹380 per month for 10 months.
• Day Scholars receive ₹230 per month for 10 months.
Additional Allowances for Students with Disabilities:
• For Day Scholars: ₹600 per month
• For Hostellers: ₹800 per month
Please note that the disability must be certified by a competent medical authority of the state administration as defined under the relevant Act. These provisions also extend to leprosy-cured students and those with sickle cell anaemia or Thalassemia.
Selection Criteria:
Candidates will be selected based on their fulfillment of the specified eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NSP Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, an applicant must fulfill the following conditions:
• Be a citizen of India.
• Be a domicile of Mizoram.
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
• Have successfully passed the Class 10/12 or any higher secondary examination from a recognised university or board.
• Have an annual family income of less than ₹2,50,000 from all sources.
• Hold a valid bank account in a scheduled bank, which must be linked to Aadhaar and a mobile number.
• Not be currently receiving any other scholarship concurrently.
Important Note on Eligible Courses and Institutions:
The scholarships are specifically awarded for the study of post-matriculation/post-secondary courses. These courses must be recognised by the concerned approving authority and pursued in one of the following categories of institutions, universities, or colleges:
• All government institutes, colleges, and universities.
• Institutions of National Importance.
• Central University/State University/Autonomous Colleges recognised by the UGC and universities/colleges recognised under section 2(f) and/or 12(b) of the UGC Act.
• Deemed universities.
• Private universities recognised by state/centre with ‘A’ level or equivalent accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) or National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
• Private professional institutions affiliated with a recognised central or state university.
• Schools and colleges recognised by the government/government-aided for Classes 11 and 12.
• Diploma-granting institutions as recognised by state/UT governments.
• Vocational training institutes affiliated with the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).
• Institutions affiliated or approved by appropriate bodies like MCI/AICTE or any regulatory body established by the state/centre as an approving authority for a particular course.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and upload the following necessary documents during the application process:
• A recent passport-size photograph of the student.
• Domicile certificate as proof of residency in Mizoram.
• Academic transcripts of previous qualifying examinations, which include certificates, diplomas, degrees, and mark sheets.
• ST (Scheduled Tribe) certificate, duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer (RO) not below the rank of Tehsildar.
• An income certificate for the parent(s)/guardian(s), issued by the authority as decided by the state government.
• A receipt acknowledging the scholarship received in the previous year (if applicable).
• Disability certificate (if applicable), for students applying under the disability allowance category.
How to Apply
Eligible applicants can apply for the NSP Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship by following these detailed steps on the National Scholarship Portal (NSP):
1. Visit the official website: Navigate to the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
2. Registration: If you are a new user, click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required registration details. If you are already registered, log in using your Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.
3. Access Students Section: On the left-hand side of the dashboard, locate and click on the 'Students' option.
4. Login for OTR: Click on the 'Login' button under the O One-Time Registration (OTR) option, as this is necessary to apply for scholarships on NSP.
5. New User Registration for OTR: If you are a new user for OTR, click on 'New user? Register yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
6. Review Instructions: Carefully read all the details, tick the checkbox to confirm, and then click on the 'Next' button.
7. Complete Mobile Verification: Enter a functional mobile number, the displayed captcha code, and the One-Time Password (OTP) received, then submit to complete the initial registration process.
8. Fill OTR Details: Fill in all the required personal and academic details and click on 'Save & Register' to complete the 'One-time registration (OTR)' process. Please note that this generates a temporary registration number. Students are required to download the OTR mobile application for face authentication to fully complete the OTR process.
9. Apply for Scholarship: After successful registration and OTR completion, navigate to the 'Apply for Scholarship' option and click on the 'Login' button.
10. Submit Application: Select the specific scholarship (NSP Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship for ST Students, Mizoram), fill in all the required details accurately, upload the necessary documents as specified, and finally, submit your application.
Important Considerations:
