Admission Eligibility and Requirements
International students, including those holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards, are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide a statement of English proficiency. They also need to list two referees who will submit recommendation letters.

Application Process and Selection
IIT Delhi may require scores from national and international standardized tests. These include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), and DST INSPIRE for PhD and PG programs. International tests like Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also accepted.
English language proficiency test scores are mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination. Final admission decisions will be based on performance in an interview.
Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for interviews. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant academic disciplines. IIT Delhi offers admissions across its PhD and PG courses to international students through this process.
