About This Scholarship
The Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana for SC Students, Himachal Pradesh 2025-26, is a significant initiative by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Its primary goal is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
This scholarship targets students who have successfully passed their Class 10 examination and have subsequently taken admission in Class 11 or any professional/technical courses. The program aims to support their educational journey by offering substantial financial aid.
Under this scheme, the top 1,250 meritorious students from the SC category, as determined by the results of the matric examination conducted by the HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala, will receive a considerable award. Selected scholars will be granted ₹12,000 per annum. This financial support is provided for two successive years, helping students continue their studies without undue financial burden.
Applicants should note that the application deadline for this scholarship is 31 October 2025. The selection process is strictly based on the academic merit of the candidates, ensuring that deserving students are recognized and supported.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana for SC Students, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
• Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• Have successfully passed the Class 10 examination.
• Have taken admission in Class 11 or any professional/technical courses after Class 10.
• The admission must be at a recognised institution, whether within or outside the state of Himachal Pradesh.

• Marksheet/certificates of previous academic qualifications, particularly Class 10.
• A valid Caste certificate confirming belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• An Income certificate to verify the economic background of the family.

1. Step 1: Access the application portal through the official website.
2. Step 2: Locate and click on the 'Register' button. Proceed to fill in all the required registration details. If you are already a registered user, you can log in directly using your Gmail, Mobile number, or Email ID.
3. Step 3: Once logged in or registered, navigate to the 'Applicant Corner' section and click on the 'New Registration' tab.
4. Step 4: Carefully read through all the provided details. After understanding the information, tick the checkbox to confirm and then click on the 'Continue' button.
5. Step 5: Enter your mobile number, the displayed captcha code, and the One-Time Password (OTP) received on your mobile. After entering these details, submit them.
6. Step 6: Fill in all the remaining required details accurately. After completing, click on 'Save & Register' to finalize your registration process.
7. Step 7: Now, click on the 'Fresh Application' tab. Log in using your previously generated application ID and password.
8. Step 8: Proceed to fill in all the necessary application details. Ensure you upload all the required documents as specified. Finally, review your application thoroughly and submit it.
Important Note: Applicants are strongly advised to fill out the form correctly and completely. No changes can be made once the application is submitted. Furthermore, applicants should submit only one application. Submitting multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of your application form.
