Admission Details
The application portal for foreign national candidates will close at 4:00 PM on March 30, 2026 . Non-Indian nationals are eligible. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Applicants must submit a statement of English proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees. These referees will submit recommendation letters commenting on the candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
Eligibility and Requirements
Candidates may need to submit scores from national or international entrance examinations. Accepted scores include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), and DST INSPIRE.
International examination scores like Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also considered. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted test scores include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission decisions will be based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
