The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will conduct supplementary examinations for Class 11 students who did not pass Semester 2 subjects. Institutions will manage these exams internally. The deadline for completing these supplementary exams is April 11, 2026 .
Supplementary Exam Schedule
WBCHSE has directed all heads of institutions to conduct Class 11 Semester 2 supplementary exams annually if needed. This policy begins immediately.
Marks Submission Deadline
Schools must submit Class 11 marks to the council by April 16, 2026 . This includes scores from Semester 1, Semester 2, and any applicable supplementary exams. Practical and project marks for the 2025-2026 academic year are also due by this date. Submissions must be made through the WBCHSE online portal: wbchse.wb.gov.in.
Class 12 Admissions
Classes for students promoted to Class 12 for the 2026-2027 academic year will commence by the fourth week of April 2026. This allows for a smooth transition to the next academic year.
