About This Scholarship

NSP Financial Assistance For Education To The Wards Of Beedi/Cine/Iomc/Lsdm, Post-Matric 2025-26 is a significant opportunity provided by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. This scheme aims to offer crucial financial help to students from Class 11 to postgraduate levels, enabling them to pursue their education at any government-recognised institution or university.

The scholarship specifically targets children of workers in various sectors, including Beedi, Cine, Iron Ore Mines, Manganese Ore & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, or Mica Mines. A primary goal of this initiative is to prevent these children from having to work in hazardous industries by supporting their educational pursuits and ensuring continuity in their studies.

Selected candidates can receive substantial financial assistance, with awards up to ₹25,000 per annum. The exact scholarship amount varies depending on the course and class level. For instance, students in Class 11 and 12 may receive ₹3,000 per annum, while those in ITI and Polytechnic courses can receive ₹6,000 per annum. Degree courses (including B.Sc. Agriculture) also provide ₹6,000 per annum, and professional courses offer the maximum amount of ₹25,000 per annum.

The selection process is based on both merit and means, considering the percentage obtained by candidates in their qualifying examinations and the annual income of their parents or guardians. Students promoted to the next class are also eligible to apply.

The application deadline for this scholarship is October 31, 2025.
