Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a self-declaration of English language proficiency. They also need to provide the names of two referees who will submit recommendation letters. These referees will comment on the candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Admission to PhD and PG programs may require scores from standardized tests. These can include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. International exams like the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also accepted.
Proficiency in English will be assessed through international tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or the Cambridge English Examination. Candidates must submit scores from one of these tests.
Selection Process
IIT Delhi will select candidates based on their performance in an interview. Those with strong academic records will be invited to interview with a faculty committee in their chosen discipline.
