The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has scheduled the Paper 2 examinations for the Junior Engineer (JE) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) recruitment drives for 2025. The SSC JE 2025 Paper 2 will take place on April 7 . The SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 exam is set for April 10 .
SSC JE Paper 2 assesses candidates through three sections. It comprises 100 questions worth a total of 300 marks. Each incorrect answer will incur a deduction of one mark.
SSC JE 2025 Exam Details
The SSC recently released results for the JE 2025 Paper 1. A total of 15,607 candidates qualified for the Paper 2 stage.
Of the shortlisted candidates for JE Paper 2, 11,593 will take the Civil Engineering exam. Another 4,014 candidates will appear for the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering exam.
The SSC JE 2025 Paper 1 exam was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from December 3 to 6 and on December 13 across various national centers.
SSC CHSL 2025 Exam Details
For the SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 exam, over 39,000 candidates have been shortlisted. More than 11 lakh candidates originally took the SSC CHSL 2025 exam.
The CHSL exam recruits for Group C, non-gazetted government positions. The JE exam targets Group B non-gazetted posts in various government ministries and departments.
Exam Pattern Overview
The SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 2 exam includes an objective test in Session 1. Session 2 consists of a skill test or typing test.
