The Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 Mathematics paper is scheduled for tomorrow, March 9. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will conduct the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Exam Guidelines
Students must arrive at their examination centers at least 40 to 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. This allows for entry and verification procedures.
Candidates will have three hours to complete the ISC Class 12 Maths exam. An additional 15 minutes will be provided for reading the question paper before the writing period begins.
Paper Structure and Marks
The ISC Class 12 Mathematics paper consists of three sections: A, B, and C.
Section A is compulsory for all students. It carries 65 marks.
Students must choose to answer either Section B or Section C . Each of these sections is worth 15 marks.
The theory paper totals 80 marks. An additional 20 marks are allocated for a project component, bringing the total marks for the Mathematics exam to 100.
Question Types and Topics
The paper will include a mix of very short answer, short answer, and long answer questions. These questions are designed to assess student understanding of topics such as relationships and functions, algebra, calculus, vectors, and statistics.
Exam Analysis Expectations
Based on the CISCE exam pattern, the mathematics paper is expected to feature questions that test both conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities.
