The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed Class 12 board exams in several Middle East countries. The exams, originally scheduled for March 9 to 11, are now delayed due to the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict. New dates will be announced after a situation review.
CBSE will also decide on Class 12 exams scheduled from March 12 onwards. Students should monitor school communications for updates. This follows the earlier postponement of the March 7 Class 12 exam.
The board also cancelled Class 10 exams from March 7 to 11. Previously rescheduled exams on March 2, 5, and 6 were also cancelled.
Exam Locations and Schedule
CBSE board exams are currently underway in Middle Eastern countries. These include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Students in these regions must stay in contact with their schools for precise information.
The Class 12 board exams commenced on February 17. They are scheduled to conclude on April 10. The Phase 1 Class 10 exams started on February 17. These conclude on March 11. Phase 2 for Class 10 exams begins May 15 and ends June 1.
