CBSE Cancels Class 10, Postpones Class 12 Exams in Middle East

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled all Class 10 examinations scheduled between March 7 and March 11. The board has also postponed Class 12 exams in the Middle East due to ongoing conflict in the region. The cancellations and postponements mark the third time the board has adjusted exam schedules because of the situation.

Exam Adjustments

Class 10 exams previously rescheduled for March 2, 5, and 6 are now fully cancelled. The board will announce the method for declaring Class 10 results at a later date. Class 12 exams set for March 7 are postponed. New dates for these exams will be released subsequently.

Affected Regions and Next Steps

CBSE conducts examinations in several Middle Eastern countries. These include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The board will reassess the situation on March 7. Further directives regarding exams scheduled from March 9 onwards will be issued then.
