Details That Can Be Edited
Candidates can edit the following information in their application:
- Name
- Parents’ names
- Category details
- Programme choice (full-time/part-time)
- Qualifications
- Experience
- UGC-NET, CEED, CSIR (JRF) scores
- Uploaded documents
Details That Cannot Be Edited
The following details are locked and cannot be changed during the correction period:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Address
- Signature
- Photograph
- Gender
- Date of birth
Fee Adjustments
Changes to category or PwBD status may affect the application fee. If an extra fee is required, candidates must pay it to finalize their edits. Any overpaid amount will be refunded.
How to Edit Your Application
Follow these steps to correct your NIFTEE 2026 application:
- Visit the official NTA website: exams.nta.nic.in/niftee .
- Click on the “Correction Window for NIFT PhD – 2026” link.
- Log in using your application number, password, and captcha.
- Make the necessary corrections.
- Click “Submit” and pay any applicable correction fees.
- Download and save a copy of the edited application form.
