Program Details
This is a two-year postgraduate program. It spans four semesters. The curriculum integrates humanities, social sciences, digital systems, and emerging technologies. BIT Mesra aims to prepare graduates for careers in research, policy, media, development, academia, and technology sectors.
Fees
Tuition fees are structured per semester. The first year costs Rs 34,800 per semester. The second year costs Rs 38,000 per semester.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates require a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. This includes BA, BSc, B Com, B Tech, B E, or equivalent. A minimum of 55% aggregate marks or CGPA is needed for General and Unreserved candidates. SC and ST candidates require a minimum of 50%.
For students on a CGPA system, percentage equivalence will follow university guidelines. Final-year undergraduate students may apply provisionally. Admission depends on submitting proof of degree completion with required marks.
Foreign degree holders must verify UGC equivalence. They will need to submit certification when requested.
