The Karnataka 2nd PUC English exam starts tomorrow, March 3, 2026 . The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will administer the test. The exam will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will have three hours to complete the paper. They will also receive 15 minutes for reading the question paper.
Exam Details
The English theory paper is worth 80 marks. An additional 20 marks are allocated for internal assessments. Students with disabilities will receive extra time. They get 60 additional minutes for the 3-hour paper. The exam for these candidates will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students must bring their Karnataka 2nd PUC hall ticket 2026 . Entry to the exam hall is not permitted without it.
English Paper Structure
The English question paper covers prose, poetry, and supplementary texts. It includes grammar sections. Comprehension passages and writing tasks are also part of the exam. Writing tasks may include letter writing, report writing, or essays.
The paper features multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Fill-in-the-blanks and short and long answer questions are included. The paper is divided into five parts. Students need to score at least 33% to pass. There is no negative marking.
Other Exams
Practical and oral exams are scheduled for JTS students. These exams are for subjects 56, 57, 58, and 59. They will take place on April 4, 2026 . These will be held at the students’ respective schools.
The Karnataka SSLC and 2nd PUC Exam 2 are scheduled to begin on April 25, 2026. Class 10 exams start on May 18, 2026.
