Kashmir Schools Close, Exams Postponed After Protests

All examinations scheduled for March 2 are postponed. Classwork is suspended across all campuses. Recruitment interviews are also deferred.

Central University of Kashmir

Classwork suspension is in effect for March 2 and 3 . This affects students and staff on campus.

Cluster University of Srinagar

Examinations planned for March 2 have been postponed. The university will announce new dates soon.

Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST)

Examinations scheduled for Monday are deferred. Classwork is suspended until further notice.

Other Institutions

Islamia College Srinagar postponed exams from March 2 to March 4 . Government Degree College Baramulla also deferred its March 2 examinations.

Other Postponements

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) postponed driving tests. These tests were scheduled for Monday.

Jammu Division Remains Unaffected

Examinations in the Jammu division will proceed as scheduled. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) confirmed this. Schools in Jammu will also remain open. JKBOSE is conducting annual examinations for classes 10, 11, and 12. The class 10 social science paper is set to occur as planned.
