The application correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 closes today, February 28, 2026 . Candidates who applied for the exam can make changes to their submitted forms until 11:50 P.M. The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened this window yesterday, February 27.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Details
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are scheduled from April 2 to April 9, 2026 . The deadline to submit applications for Session 2 was February 25, 2026 . Only applications with submitted registration fees by the deadline are considered. These candidates can access the correction portal.
The correction facility is available on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in . A direct link is also provided for access.
Editable Fields and Fees
An additional fee may apply for certain corrections. Payment for this fee can be made via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
For Existing Candidates (Registered for Session 1 and applied for Session 2)
These candidates can edit the following fields:
- Course (Paper)
- Medium of Question Paper
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Cities (from available options)
- Educational qualification details (Class 10th and 12th)
- Gender
- Category
- Fee Payment (if applicable)
- Identity Details (for those not using Aadhaar)
Corrections in these fields may require an additional fee.
For New Candidates (Applied only for Session 2)
New candidates cannot change the following:
- Mobile Number
- E-Mail Address
- Address (Permanent and Present)
- Emergency Contact details
- Live/ Uploaded Photograph
New candidates can change one of the following:
- Candidate Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
New candidates can change/add all of the following:
- Educational qualification details (Class 10th and 12th)
- State Code of Eligibility
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category / PwD (if not verified by UDID Portal)
- Signature
- Paper
Candidates can also change examination city selection and medium of examination based on their address. Identity details can be changed if Aadhaar was not used during registration.
