More than 180,000 students have registered for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination (MHT CET) MBA and MMS programs. This is the highest registration count in five years for the MBA CET. Admissions are for the 2026-27 academic year.
Record Registrations for MHT MBA CET 2026
The Maharashtra State CET Cell reported over 1.8 lakh total applications. This figure combines registrations for both available attempts of the exam.
Specifically, approximately 130,000 students registered for the first attempt. Over 47,000 candidates applied for the second attempt.
Application Correction Facility Opens
Candidates who registered can now correct their application details. The correction window is open from February 28 to March 2 .
The official MHT CET website, cetcell.mahacet.org, hosts this facility. Applicants can edit details such as their name, date of birth, photograph, signature, and gender. They can also modify their chosen attempt options.
MHT MBA CET 2026 Exam Schedule
The MHT MBA CET 2026 exam is scheduled in two sessions. Session 1 exams will take place from April 6 to April 8 .
Session 2 examinations are scheduled for May 9 . The exam is computer-based. It will be conducted across various centers within Maharashtra.
