The registration deadline for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026, Session 2, is today, February 25, at 9 PM. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application window for B.Tech and B.Arch programs. Candidates can submit their forms on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Following the application deadline, the fee payment portal will remain open until 11:50 PM tonight. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination is scheduled to take place from April 2 to April 9. Exams will be conducted in two shifts daily: a morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and an afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.
Application Correction Window Opens Soon
After the registration period concludes, the NTA will provide a window for candidates to make corrections to their submitted application forms. This correction facility will be available from February 27 and will close on February 28 at 11:50 PM. Students can access the correction form via the official JEE Main website.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 if they have passed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025. Students currently appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2026 are also eligible. There is no age restriction for appearing in the JEE Main 2026 examination. Candidates who previously appeared for Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 can also register and take the April session exams.

- New applicants must register using a valid email address and mobile number. Existing users who participated in Session 1 can log in using their previous credentials.

- Select the desired paper type: BE/B.Tech, B.Arch, or B.Plan.
- Upload required documents, including a photograph and signature, adhering to the specified format and size guidelines.
- Choose preferred examination cities.
- Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
- Submit the completed application form and download a copy for future reference.
