The ICSE Class 10 Hindi (Second Language) exam is scheduled for February 26, 2026 . This exam is the third largest by candidate numbers among the estimated 2.6 lakh students appearing for ICSE exams this year. The exams commenced on February 17, 2026.
Practice Papers Released
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released practice question papers . These aim to help students finalize their preparation. Students can use these papers to revise according to the 2026 Marking Scheme .
Hindi Exam Day Instructions
Students must follow specific instructions at the exam center.
- Candidates should arrive and be seated by 10:30 a.m. Late entry may not be permitted after the question paper distribution.
- The 15-Minute Rule is in effect. Students may read the question paper only between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Writing in the answer booklet is prohibited during this period.
- Bring only the original ICSE 2026 Admit Card . Laminated or digital copies are not acceptable.
- Use only blue or black ballpoint/fountain pens for writing. Pencils are permitted only for diagrams or underlining.
- Electronic devices such as smartwatches, digital diaries, and smartphones are banned. Possession of any paper with notes is considered malpractice and may lead to disciplinary action.
