TS EdCET 2026 registration is open . Kakatiya University Warangal has begun accepting applications for the Telangana Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET 2026). The exam is scheduled for May 12 .
Candidates can apply online at edcet.tgche.ac.in. The deadline to apply without a late fee is April 15 .
About TS EdCET 2026
Kakatiya University conducts TS EdCET for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) program. Admissions are for the academic year 2026-2027 in Telangana colleges.
Exam Details
The TS EdCET 2026 exam will have two sessions. The first session runs from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The second session is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Results will be issued as a scorecard. Candidates will need their login ID and password to download the scorecard.
Exam Pattern
The TS EdCET exam duration is two hours. It features multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question has four options and is worth one mark.
The exam is divided into five sections:
- Subject/Content (Telangana State curriculum up to Class 10): 60 questions, 60 marks. This includes Mathematics (20), Physical Science (10), Biological Science (10), and Social Studies (20).
- Teaching Aptitude: 20 questions, 20 marks.
- General English: 20 questions, 20 marks.
- General Knowledge & Educational Issues: 30 questions, 30 marks.
- Computer Awareness: 20 questions, 20 marks.
The total number of questions is 150, with a total of 150 marks.

Application Fee
The TS EdCET application fee is ₹750. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories pay ₹550.
