NEET PG Maharashtra Stray Vacancy Results Released

The Maharashtra NEET PG stray vacancy round seat allotment results are now available. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET Cell) released the list on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. A total of 3,402 candidates secured seats for MD, MS, and diploma courses through this round.

Stray Vacancy Round Details

The released list shows that 37 candidates were disqualified. These individuals had already been admitted or allotted seats in All India, DNB, or deemed quotas. Additionally, 656 candidates did not receive an allotment. This was due to their preferred choices not being available.

The status of 153 candidates under the NRI quota was marked as ‘against NRI’. Twenty candidates under the EWS quota had their status marked ‘against EWS’.

Reporting and Document Submission

Candidates who received seats in the stray vacancy round must report to their assigned college between February 24 and February 26 . The deadline for reporting is 5:30 PM on February 26 .

Candidates must also submit a status retention form. This submission is required in person by 5:30 PM on February 26 .

Required documents and the allotment order must be presented during reporting for verification. Candidates must also pay the prescribed fees at this time.

In-service Candidate Consideration

The State CET Cell stated that in-service candidates without incentive marks will be considered for the in-service quota. This will occur only after all in-service candidates with incentive marks have been evaluated. This policy follows Clause 4.6 of the Government of Maharashtra resolution dated July 19, 2023.
