The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 Accountancy exam began today, February 24, 2026. The exam commenced at 10:30 AM and concluded at 1:30 PM.
Exam Details
Students were required to report to their examination centers by 9:30 AM . A 15-minute reading period was allotted from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM. Entry was strictly prohibited after the 10:00 AM gate closure.
The Accountancy paper consists of an 80-mark theory component and a 20-mark practical or project section. The total marks for the subject are 100.
Passing Requirements
To pass the CBSE Class 12 exams, students must achieve a minimum of 33% in each subject. This includes theory, practicals, and internal assessments.
For subjects with practical exams, students must pass the theory and practical components separately. A minimum Grade D is required for each subject.
