The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has finalized NEET PG stray vacancy allotments, reducing the total from 2,799 to 2,798 seats. Nine additional seats were removed from the final allocation list due to various irregularities and court cases. The revised allotment results are now available on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
Candidates with provisional seat allotments must complete admission formalities by February 28 . Any discrepancies in the results must be reported to mccresultquery@gmail.com by 6 pm on February 23 . After this deadline, provisional results will become final.
The removal of one seat from the provisional list followed the exclusion of candidates who had already joined state seats. This adjustment leaves 182 seats vacant at the conclusion of the NEET PG 2025 counselling process.
Nine PG Medical Seats Removed
The MCC withdrew nine Postgraduate medical seats prior to processing for the NEET PG stray vacancy round. These removals were attributed to specific reasons, including ongoing court cases and reporting errors by medical institutes.
Four seats were removed due to court cases. Two seats were cancelled because colleges filled more seats than allocated. Another two seats were removed due to institutes conducting offline reporting, bypassing the central counselling process.
