Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the 14th convocation of Tripura Central University on March 8 . The ceremony will take place at the university campus in Suryamaninagar, West Tripura. Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, Chief Minister Manik Saha, Varsity Chancellor Ahmed Javed, and Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Shyamal Das are expected to attend.
Convocation Details
This convocation marks the awarding of degrees and medals to students. The ceremony had not been held for the past two years, 2024 and 2025. This delay caused issues for students needing their certificates. The upcoming event aims to address these problems.
Student Awards and Degrees
Gold medals will be presented to top-performing students. These awards are for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students from the academic years 2024 and 2025 will be recognized.
A total of 145 students from 2024 and 138 students from 2025 will receive honors. Additionally, 149 students will be awarded their PhD degrees during the convocation.
Acting Registrar Prof. Sameer Kumar Shil confirmed the event details. The university aims to provide graduates with their much-needed academic credentials.
