UP Board Exam 2026: Class 10 English, 12 Maths/Bio on Feb 23

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will hold Class 10 English and Class 12 Mathematics and Biology exams on February 23, 2026. Over 5.2 million students are registered for the 2026 UP Board exams. Exams are scheduled in two shifts daily.

Exam Schedule for February 23, 2026

The first shift runs from 8:30 AM to 11:15 AM. This shift is for Class 10 English papers. The second shift takes place from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. This shift covers Class 12 Mathematics and Biology papers.

Student Registration Numbers

A total of 52,30,297 candidates registered for the 2026 UP Board exams. For Class 10, 27,50,945 students are registered. This includes 14,38,682 boys and 13,12,263 girls. For Class 12, 24,79,352 students registered. This group comprises 13,03,012 boys and 11,76,340 girls.

Exam Centers and Preparation Advice

Exams will occur at 8,033 centers across Uttar Pradesh. Students should arrive at their exam center at least 45 minutes early. This allows time to find their room and settle. Bring your original UPMSP admit card and a valid school ID. Entry is denied without these documents. Use only blue or black ballpoint pens. Keep stationery in a transparent pouch.

Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates receive 15 minutes to read the question paper. Use this time for answer planning. Possession of electronic devices like mobile phones or smartwatches leads to disqualification. The board enforces a strict copy-free policy.

Students must ensure they have the following before heading to the center:

  • Admit Card: Keep it ready the night before.
  • Reporting Time: Arrive by 7:45 AM for the morning shift (Class 10). Arrive by 1:15 PM for the afternoon shift (Class 12).
  • OMR Sheet: Fill in your roll number and subject code carefully.
  • Restricted Items: Do not carry calculators or loose sheets.
  • Answer Sheet: Check for the invigilator’s signature and the official stamp before submission.
