About This Scholarship
The Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025 is an initiative by the Directorate of Tribal Welfare (State Schemes). This program aims to support the education of students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category in Goa, with a primary objective of reducing their dropout rates.
Eligible students can receive a scholarship award of up to ₹6,870 per annum. This financial assistance is designed to help students pursue their studies from Class 5 to Class 10.
The application period for this scholarship starts on June 15, 2025, and the final deadline for submissions is October 15, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students, Goa 2025, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a bona fide resident of the State of Goa.
• Be a regular student enrolled in Class 5 to Class 10 at a recognized institution.
• Belong to the Scheduled Tribes category.
• Have a combined annual income of parents/guardians not exceeding ₹5,00,000 per annum.
• Not be receiving any maintenance grant from any institution under the Government, local bodies, or private organizations that receive grants-in-aid from local or Central Government.
• Not be receiving stipends or scholarships from any other source simultaneously.
• Not have received the award of stipends twice in the same standard.

For Fresh Students:
• Copy of Aadhar Card
• Attested copies of the Previous Year Marksheet/Passing Certificate
• Income Certificate for the academic year 2024-25
• Copy of Bank Passbook seeded with Aadhar Card
• Caste Certificate issued by a competent authority
• Passport size photographs
For Renewal Students:
• Income Certificate for the academic year 2024-25
• Marksheet of the Previous academic year
• Copy of Bank Passbook seeded with Aadhar Card
