The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 correction window on February 27. Candidates can edit their application forms online at jeemain.nta.nic.in until February 28 at 11:50 PM.
The deadline to submit the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 application form is February 25. The correction window is available for candidates who registered for Session 1 and applied for Session 2, as well as new candidates applying only for Session 2.
The NTA stated that no corrections will be accepted after February 28, 11:50 PM. Candidates making changes may need to pay an additional fee via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Fields Not Editable
The NTA has prohibited changes to five key fields in the application form:
- Mobile number
- E-mail address
- Permanent and present address
- Emergency contact details
- Uploaded photograph
Editable Fields for Session 2
Candidates can edit specific information based on their registration status.
Existing Candidates (Registered for Session 1 and applied for Session 2)
These candidates can modify:
- Course (Paper)
- Medium of Question Paper
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Cities
- Educational qualification details (Class 10th and 12th)
- Gender
- Category
- Fee Payment (if applicable)
- Identity Details (if registered with an ID other than Aadhaar)
New Candidates (Applied only for Session 2)
New candidates can change one of the following:
- Candidate Name
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
Additionally, new candidates can change or add:
- Educational qualification details (Class 10th and 12th)
- State Code of Eligibility
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD (if not verified)
- Signature
- Paper
Changes related to address will allow modifications to:
- Exam city selection
- Medium of the exam
New candidates can also change identity details if they registered with an ID other than Aadhaar.
