IIT Madras launched a new Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management and Data Science. The program operates in a hybrid mode. This offering expands upon the institute’s existing online BS in Data Science.
Program Details
The deadline to apply for the BS in Management and Data Science is May 31 . Applicants must have completed Class 12 or hold a diploma. Applications are accepted through the official website, study.iitm.ac.in/mg.
Graduates will receive a BS degree from IIT Madras. This degree carries the same academic recognition as other IIT Madras programs.
Curriculum and Goals
The curriculum is designed to provide students with skills in business decision-making. It also focuses on quantitative thinking and data-driven problem-solving. IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti stated the program prepares learners for leadership in a data-driven world. He emphasized the integration of management education with analytical foundations.
