About This Scholarship
The Charpak Exchange Scholarship 2025 is a prestigious initiative by Campus France India, designed to support Indian students pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees. This scholarship aims to facilitate academic exchange by enabling eligible students to undertake a semester in France. It provides a valuable opportunity for Indian nationals to experience French higher education and culture.
Selected candidates for this scholarship will receive significant support, including a living allowance, social security coverage, and a waiver for student visa and Campus France fees. Furthermore, recipients will benefit from assistance in securing affordable student accommodation, making their transition to France smoother and more manageable.

• Opening of the Call for Applications: 03 September 2025
• Application Deadline: 15 October 2025
• Publication of Result: 3rd week of November
Selection Criteria:
Candidates are primarily selected based on their academic excellence, coupled with the quality and consistency of their statement of purpose.
Evaluation Process:
• All received applications undergo an initial review to verify eligibility against the set criteria.
• The selection committee meticulously evaluates each application, focusing on academic achievement, consistency in the application, and the overall quality of the statement of purpose. There is no specified minimum CGPA or percentage required for eligibility.
• A thorough plagiarism check is conducted on all submitted statements of purpose. The use of AI tools for generating content is strongly discouraged, and applications found to have significant AI-generated content will face disqualification.
• Applicants are advised to ensure their applications are complete and accurate. The French Embassy is not responsible for incomplete or unsuccessful applications.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
• be an Indian national residing in India or an OCI card holder
• be no more than 30 years old (maximum at the time of application)
• be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree
• be currently enrolled in an Indian institution of higher learning that has a tie-up with the French institution where the applicant will pursue an exchange semester (mandatory)
• be nominated by their home institution to participate in the programme
Non-eligibility:-
• Applicants who have been accepted for a study exchange semester and students undertaking a thesis, research project, or internship as part of their exchange are NOT eligible to apply.
Required Documents
The following documents are required for the Charpak Exchange Scholarship 2025 application:
• Passport-sized formal photograph
• Scanned copy of the first passport page (photo and expiry date)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 2 pages)
• Admission/acceptance letter from a French institution/laboratory
• Scanned mark sheets for Higher Secondary School (Class 12), Bachelor's, and Master's degrees
• French language certificate (if applicable: DELF/DALF, recognized university, or Xth marks card)
• NOC from the Indian institution
• Employment/internship record (if applicable)
• French language certificate from Alliance Française in India or a recognized university (if applicable)
• Recommendation letter from the university (optional)
• Statement of purpose (format available on the scholarship form)
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:-
1. Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button on the official website.
2. Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button and fill in the required details to register. (Note:• If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID.)
3. Step 3: Navigate to 'Online Application Procedure' and click on the given link.
4. Step 4: Click on the 'Create Account' link. You can register with your Google or Facebook account or click on 'I do not have social media account'.
5. Step 5: Fill in the details in the 'Register' tab. (Note:• Applicants who are already registered can directly log in.)
6. Step 6: Once registered successfully, log in with valid credentials and fill in the required details in the application form.
7. Step 7: Upload all supporting documents as specified in the requirements and submit the application.
