February 19, 2026 – The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) begins its Class 10 Social Science and Class 12 English examinations tomorrow, February 20, 2026. The Class 10 exam is scheduled for the morning shift, running from 8:30 AM to 11:15 AM. Class 12 students will take their English paper in the afternoon shift, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
Tomorrow’s Exam Schedule
The UP Board has released the schedule for February 20. Students in Class 10 will focus on Social Science. Class 12 students have two exam sessions. The morning session includes Agriculture Engineering Paper-IV and Agriculture Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Paper-IX (Agriculture Part-2). The afternoon session is dedicated to the English paper.

This year, over 50 lakh students are participating in the UPMSP exams. This includes 27,50,945 students for Class 10 and 24,79,352 for Class 12. The examinations are being conducted across 8,033 centers statewide. On February 18, 2026, a total of 3.13 lakh candidates were absent. Yesterday, February 19, exams for Class 10 Computer and Sewing, along with Class 12 Civics and vocational subjects, concluded.
Class 10 Social Science Exam Details
The UP Board Class 10 Social Science exam consists of an 80-mark written paper and a 20-mark internal assessment. The written portion includes 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth 1 mark. There are also 4 short answer questions carrying 4 marks each. Additionally, 4 long answer questions are worth 6 marks apiece. Finally, 2 very long answer questions will be graded at 5 marks each.
