The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) begins its Class 10 and 12 board examinations on February 20 . This marks the start of a critical testing period for over 4.6 million students nationwide. The exams will be held at more than 8,000 centers across India.
Tomorrow’s Exams
On February 20, Class 12 students will sit for the Physics paper . The exam is scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm .
Class 10 students will take vocational exams. These include Data Science, Beauty and Wellness, Marketing and Sales, Multi-Skill Foundation Course, and Physical Activity Trainer. These exams will run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm .
Passing Requirements
To pass the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams, students must achieve at least 33% marks in each subject. This includes theory, practicals, and internal assessments. Students need a minimum Grade D. They must pass theory and practical components separately for subjects with practical exams.
Exam Day Guidelines
Students must arrive at the exam center 30-45 minutes before the reporting time indicated on their admit cards. Late entries will not be permitted.
All candidates must carry their CBSE Class 10 or 12 admit card . Entry to the exam hall is prohibited without this document.
Students will receive answer booklets and question papers 15 minutes before the exam begins. This time is for filling in necessary details and reviewing the questions.
