The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) begins its Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on February 18, 2026 . The Hindi paper marks the start of the exams, which will conclude on March 12, 2026.
Class 10 students will take their Hindi exam from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Class 12 students will have their Hindi exam in the afternoon shift, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

A total of 52,30,297 students are registered for the 2026 UP Board exams. The exams will be held at 8,033 centres across Uttar Pradesh.

Exam Conduct and Oversight
UPMSP has established a state-level control room in Lucknow to monitor the examinations. This facility is located at the camp office of the Director of Secondary Education.
Practical exams for Class 10 concluded on February 5, 2026. Class 12 practical exams were completed by February 16, 2026.
Important Exam Guidelines
Students must adhere to specific rules for the examinations. These rules apply to both Class 10 and Class 12 exams.
- Required Documents: Bring a signed admit card and an original photo ID (school ID or Aadhaar card).
- Reporting Time: Arrive at the exam centre at least one hour before the scheduled start time.
- Allowed Items: Blue or black ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, and a transparent geometry box.
- Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, books, notes, loose papers, and food. Sharing stationery is forbidden.
- In the Hall: Write your roll number and answer booklet number on every page. Cheating will lead to disqualification. Students cannot leave before the exam ends.

Regular students must collect their admit cards from their schools. Private candidates can download their admit cards online.
