IIT Kharagpur and Russian University Sign Exchange Pact

IIT Kharagpur and Russia’s Saint Petersburg Mining University have formed an academic partnership. They signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a virtual ceremony on Monday . The agreement focuses on student and faculty exchanges. It also aims to develop joint academic programs.

Partnership Goals

The collaboration will facilitate student and scholar exchanges. Faculty members will exchange for joint scientific research. Both institutions will work on developing joint academic programs. These programs target students and working professionals.

The MoU was signed by Professor Vladimir Litvinenko, Rector of Saint Petersburg Mining University. Professor Suman Chakraborty, Director of IIT Kharagpur, also signed the agreement.
