The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key on February 17, 2026 . Candidates can access the key online. The National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026 was held on February 8, 2026 . The exam was a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted at various centers nationwide.
Answer Key Challenges
Students can raise objections to the provisional answer key. The deadline to submit challenges is February 19, 2026, at 11:50 PM . A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question is required for each objection. Objections must be submitted online. Payment options include Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, and UPI.
Challenges submitted after the deadline or without successful payment will not be accepted. If NTA finds submitted challenges valid, the answer key will be revised. This revised key will impact the results for all candidates.
How to Raise Objections
Candidates can follow these steps to challenge the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key:
- Visit the official NTA website at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee .
- Locate and click the link for ‘Answer Key Challenge for NIFT (UG) & (PG)’ on the ‘LATEST NEWS’ ribbon.
- Log in using your Application Number and Password. Enter the security PIN.
- Select the ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ option.
- Choose the Question ID you wish to challenge. Select the correct option from the provided choices.
- Upload supporting documents as a single PDF file if needed.
- Click ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
- Pay the fee of Rs 200 per challenged question.
- Download the confirmation page after payment.
Applicable Courses
The provisional answer key is available for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. This includes B.Des., B.F.Tech., M.Des., M.F.M., and M.F.Tech. (Regular) courses. The NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA) for B.Des. and B.F.Tech. courses are also covered.
