The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results on February 19. Over 13 lakh students registered for the exam. The scorecard is available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Twelve students achieved a perfect 100 percentile score.

A total of 12 candidates scored 100 percentile in JEE Main 2026 Session 1. Another 24 candidates secured a 99.99 percentile. The exam saw 13,04,653 students participate. The NTA score is used to determine the percentile.

How to Check Results
Students can check their JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results online. They need to visit the official NTA website. The website address is jeemain.nta.nic.in. Look for the link that says, "Result of JEE (Main)–2026 [Session-I]". Click this link. You will need your application number and password. Alternatively, use your date of birth. Your scorecard will appear on the screen. Download it for future reference. It is advisable to print a copy.
Answer Key Released
The NTA also released the final answer key on February 16. Nine questions were dropped from the exam. All dropped questions were from Mathematics and Physics sections.
Next Steps and Opportunities
Registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 is open until February 25. Students who wish to improve their scores can register again. Session 2 of the computer-based exam will occur from April 2 to April 9. It will be conducted in two shifts daily. Those who qualify from Session 1 can register for JoSAA counselling. The top 2.5 lakh qualifiers are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026. JEE Advanced is required for admission to IITs.
