The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will begin the Class 10 ICSE exams on February 17, 2026 . The first examination is English Paper 1. This paper will be administered from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Exam Day Guidelines
Students must collect their admit cards from their respective schools. Entry into the examination hall is prohibited without a valid admit card. Candidates must arrive at the exam center 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. They must verify their admit card upon arrival. Discipline is required within the exam premises.
On exam day, students must wear their school uniform . Identification cards are also mandatory. These rules are set by the CISCE board.
Dos and Don’ts for Exam Day
- Arrive at the allotted exam center 40 to 45 minutes early.
- Carry a hard copy of the CISCE-issued admit card.
- Bring your admit card, stationery, and a transparent water bottle.
- Read the question paper carefully after distribution.
- Raise queries to invigilators if you have doubts.
- Latecomers will not be allowed entry, even if 5 minutes late.
- Electronic devices and chits are prohibited. Penalties will be severe.
- Do not wear informal clothing. The school uniform is mandatory.
- Leaving the exam hall before the end of the exam is not permitted.
