Marathi Exam Details
The Maharashtra HSC (Class 12) Marathi paper is not a compulsory subject for all students in the 2026 curriculum. The exam is structured for 100 marks. This includes an 80-mark theory paper and a 20-mark internal assessment.
Approximately 25% of the paper comprised multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and very short answer types. The remaining 75% focused on short-answer and long-form descriptive questions.
Paper Breakdown
The 80-mark theory paper was divided into five sections:
- Prose and Poetry: Approximately 18-20 marks and 16 marks, respectively.
- Sahitya Vidhya: 10 marks.
