The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has set February 13 as the deadline for admissions in the NEET PG Round 3. This date marks the end of the admission process for postgraduate medical courses with remaining vacancies. Candidates who received seats in Round 3 must complete their enrollment by this date.
NEET PG Round 3 Admissions Deadline
The final allotment results for NEET PG Round 3 were released on February 6. This followed several reschedules of choice filling and seat allocation. Seat additions and withdrawals, along with legal cases, impacted the original timeline.
A total of 10,084 candidates received fresh seat allotments. Two seats were withdrawn from the provisional list. These withdrawals occurred due to duplication and technical issues in the allotment process.
Among the candidates, 8,589 secured an upgrade to their previously allotted seats. However, 7,094 candidates did not receive an upgrade. Another 3,450 candidates chose not to opt for an upgradation. A significant number, 7,899 candidates, did not participate in the choice filling for Round 3.
Students were instructed to report to their allotted colleges only after the final allotment results were declared. The MCC has now confirmed that all admission procedures must be finalized by February 13 .
NEET PG Stray Vacancy Counselling Schedule
In addition to the Round 3 deadlines, the MCC has also announced the schedule for the final stray vacancy counselling. This process is for any seats that remain unfilled after Round 3.
