Fifteen schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday. Authorities responded with heavy security and evacuations. Eight of these threats were later confirmed as hoaxes.
Email Content and Threats
The emails contained provocative messages. One stated, “Delhi will become Khalistan. Punjab is Khalistan. In memory of Afzal Guru.” Another threatened a Parliament blast for February 13 at 1:11 PM. This prompted heightened security alerts across the capital.
Emergency Response
The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received calls from multiple schools. Fire tenders and bomb disposal squads were dispatched immediately. These units conducted thorough checks of the school premises.

A total of 15 schools reported receiving the threat emails. The affected institutions include:

Evacuations and Investigations
As a precaution, school buildings were evacuated. Students and staff were moved to safe locations. Bomb detection units and dog squads searched the premises. No suspicious objects have been found so far. Cyber teams are working to trace the origin of the emails. Security at sensitive locations in Delhi has been reviewed.
Hoax Declarations
