MP Class 12 Board Exam 2026 Begins Tomorrow: Details

The Madhya Pradesh Class 12 board examinations for 2026 commence tomorrow. Approximately 7 lakh students will sit for exams across science, commerce, and humanities streams. The state board has scheduled theory exams from February 10 to March 7.

Exam Details and Requirements

Students must bring their school ID card and the downloaded MP Class 12 admit card to the examination hall. Entry to the exam center is permitted only until 8:15 AM. Latecomers will not be allowed entry 15 minutes after the exam begins. Answer sheets will be provided 10 minutes before the exam start, with question papers distributed five minutes prior.

Theory and Practical Exam Structure

Each Class 12 theory paper is worth 80 marks. The question paper will feature a uniform structure across subjects. Twenty objective-type questions, each worth one mark, are compulsory. The remaining sections include very short, short, and long answer questions.

For science subjects like physics, chemistry, and biology, 20 marks are allocated to practical exams. Commerce and humanities streams will have these additional marks assessed through internal school evaluations. Mathematics is the sole subject with 100 marks for the theory paper alone.
