The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has rescheduled its Class 9 and Class 11 examinations. The new exam dates are set from March 7 to March 19, 2026 . Results for these exams will be released on March 25, 2026 .
This revision aims to ensure the 2026-27 academic session starts on its planned date of April 1, 2026. The board confirmed these changes through official announcements.
Class 5 and Class 8 Promotion Rules Changed
RBSE has also eliminated the automatic promotion system for students in Class 5 and Class 8. Under the new regulations, students must now achieve the minimum required passing marks to advance to the next grade.
Failure to obtain these minimum marks will result in a student not being promoted. Students who do not pass will have an opportunity to appear for an improvement exam within 45 days of the results.
The board stated this new system increases accountability for students, teachers, and parents. It is expected to lead to better study monitoring and improved academic performance across the board.
