Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is holding a national placement drive from February 10 to February 13. The Campus Placement Cell (CPC) organized the event. It targets graduates, undergraduates, and alumni. Both experienced professionals and freshers can apply.
Placement Drive Details
The drive will occur at IGNOU regional centers. Locations include Bijapur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Bangalore, and Dehradun. Candidates from Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Uttarakhand are encouraged to participate. Registration is required in advance. A link for registration is available on the IGNOU website.
Recruiters from the Fintech, IT, and BPO sectors will attend. They seek candidates for roles such as Assistant Relationship Manager, Customer Support Executive, HR Generalist, and Sales Expert. Collection Officer positions are also open. The positions include salary packages and incentives.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants need good communication skills. They must wear formal attire. Candidates must bring specific documents. These include an updated CV and a government-issued photo ID. An IGNOU ID card, PAN card, and two passport-size photographs are also needed. Education certificates and marksheets, both original and photocopies, are required. Experience certificates, if applicable, must also be presented.
IGNOU stated the drive aims to extend opportunities to learners from diverse backgrounds. The initiative supports the university’s goal of creating an industry-aligned workforce. It facilitates the transition from learning to employment.
