GATE 2026: Feb 7 Exam Difficulty Analysis

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 began on February 7 . The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, is conducting the exam. Two sessions ran throughout the day.

Exam Overview

IIT Guwahati will release exact attendance figures. Preliminary reports suggest 1.6 to 1.95 million candidates appeared nationwide.

GATE is a national exam. It is used for admission to M.Tech/M.S programs. Prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, and IISc accept GATE scores.
