SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, is now accepting applications for its MTech programs. The deadline to apply online is February 15 . Prospective students can submit their applications through the university’s official website, srmap.edu.in.
MTech Admission Details
A non-refundable application fee of Rs 1,400 is required for all applicants. After submission, an application number will be generated. All official communications will be sent to the registered email address, which cannot be changed later.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MTech programs, candidates must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Science (MSc), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in a relevant field. Applicants need a minimum aggregate score of 60% in their undergraduate studies. This requirement also applies to their Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Non-resident Indian (NRI) candidates and those holding PIO or OCI cards must use the international student application form.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in either the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam or the SRM MTech entrance examination. A subsequent personal interview will also be conducted.
Scholarships and Fees
The annual tuition fee for the MTech programs is Rs 1,50,000 . Selected students may receive a scholarship covering 100% of the tuition fee . Additionally, eligible candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 6,000 . Other fees include a non-refundable admission fee of Rs 10,000 and a training and development fee of Rs 10,000.
